We have received a number of questions from our valued guests and have posted several here. If you have a question about Huerto, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do you accept reservations or call-aheads?
We accept online reservations through Open Table as well as first-come, first-serve walk ins. If you’d like to check on our wait time, please call us at 248.865.2900.

For larger parties, we suggest you consider one of our private party rooms. You can learn more about our banquet facilities here.

Does Huerto offer carry-out?
Yes we do!  We offer Carryout, Banquet and Catering on a combined menu to meet your needs.  Just give us a call at 248.865.2900.

Is your restaurant family-friendly?
Of course! For the little ones, we have a kid’s menu with some child-sized portions of popular selections such as quesadillas, chicken fingers and burgers. We also have high chairs and booster seats available. I’ve also heard a few of our bartenders can whip up a mean kiddie cocktail.

Do you have private rooms for parties and events?

Do you offer off-site catering?
Yes!  We offer both catering, with optional bartender and wait staff/servers, as well as party-size carryout tray portions of our most popular menu items for pickup.  Click here to view our Catering Menu.  We also would be honored to host your event in our banquet facilities.  Call us at 248.865.2900 and ask to speak with one of our managers.

Are any of your menu items prepared with lard?
No! Unlike many Mexican restaurants, we do not use lard in the preparation of any of our menu items, including refried beans, rice or tortilla chips. They are vegetarian-friendly! And made with love.

I have specific food allergies, does your food contain something I am allergic to?
Like all restaurants, we maintain proper food handling procedures and precautions, however dining at Huerto is ultimately a decision you would need to make depending on the severity of your allergy as there is always the possibility of trace amounts of ingredients being present despite careful preparation or removal of a specific ingredient. If you have any questions about our ingredients or food preparation, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our managers or ask to speak with one of our chefs.

Do you have a gluten-free or vegetarian menu?
We are pleased to offer our guests gluten-free options.  We do not have a specific vegetarian menu at this time, however many of our menu items can be made suitable for a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences. Please feel free to ask us to substitute or remove specific ingredients to make them more suitable for your enjoyment. If you have any questions regarding our ingredients or preparation, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our managers or ask to speak with one of our chefs. We’d be happy to suggest menu items or ingredient substitutions.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes we do! We do offer Huerto gift cards in any denomination. Just ask your server or see us at the bar. They are perfect for any occasion and your gift recipient will thank you profusely for your impeccable good taste.

Can you recommend a good tequila?
Oh gosh, yes. Please ask us for a recommendation. We’ll make you a tequila aficionado in no time.

How do you say “Huerto”?
Huerto is the Spanish word for orchard and it is pronounced “WHERE-toe”. Now say it with me… Huerto. See, you’re already on your way to becoming a regular.
